FAQ
-
Are there specific issues or concerns that fall outside the scope of treatment you provide?
Yes, we are mindful not to treat issues outside our scope of practice. For clients whom we believe would benefit from a different treatment approach, we offer referrals as needed. Currently, we do not provide treatment for active eating disorders, active addiction, or acute/active suicidality. Note: If addiction is impacting your relationships and you are concurrently receiving substance abuse treatment individually, we are open to discussing whether our services could be suitable for your needs.

Are your services available to clients residing outside of New Jersey?
At this time, I am licensed to practice in the State of NJ, and clients must be residents of and physically located in that state during sessions. We are actively exploring expanding our virtual practice to provide services in other states.
-
What is your cancellation Policy?
Our office maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy. We understand that emergencies arise unexpectedly. Please notify us of any cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $75 fee for missed or late-cancelled appointments.
-
What is your communication Policy?
I provide my office number and email for scheduling and session coordination. Text messages for scheduling and coordination are welcome during business hours.
However, I ask that clients refrain from discussing clinical concerns via email or text, as these methods are not secure. Please reserve such discussions for your scheduled session time.
-
What is the recommended frequency of therapy sessions?
Session frequency varies based on individual needs, ranging from weekly to bi-weekly or occasional check-ins. We typically advise starting with weekly sessions, to establish rapport and build a strong foundation for our work together. However, the frequency will be determined collaboratively based on your unique needs and progress.
